Business Partnership Program

Taking Responsibility to Redeem the Culture Together

For 27 years the Jesus Center has worked to find creative and practical ways to involve the community in assisting a segment of our society that, for a multitude of reasons, cannot (or will not) provide for themselves. The programs of the Jesus Center are designed to provide daily sustenance while ‘pointing the way back’ to a responsible lifestyle. The people of the Chico area have responded with a generosity born from our conviction that prosperity comes with a responsibility to invest back into the community. The Jesus Center is seeking to increase its partnership with the Chico business community by providing specific opportunities for involvement. Adopt the Jesus Center and make us your own!

The idea here is not so much of a one time response, but rather an on-going commitment. Current Need examples:

  • Printer Cartridges
  • Toner

Share Your Finances

Aware that the Jesus Center is funded solely by community support, and observing the amazing impact it has had on providing food and services to those in need in Chico, a group of Chico families came together to form Run for Food, a charity run hosted in Bidwell Park on Thanksgiving Day. This event is modeled after similar Thanksgiving Day runs throughout the country. All proceeds from this run will benefit the Jesus Center and its programs.
The staff here at the Jesus Center would like to say a huge THANK YOU to the over 1100 runners and walkers who participated, and over 50 businesses who sponsored our inaugural Run For Food. This event was successful beyond all our expectations and we are truly thankful to each and every one who participated. Visit www.runforfood.com for race results.

100 Dollar Month

The Goal here is to provide a stable base of financing upon which to build the JC. Finding 10 businesses to sponsor the JC @ $100 per month will increase the JC support from the business community approximately 30% this year.
